We recognise that diet and lifestyle express themselves in skin, as do your whole spiritual being. Each person's skin is unique, but we share a range of similar skin problems when need arises. There are two main forms of skin care: topical skin care - treating the skin directly, and internal skin care - by taking care of the food you eat, and how it is prepared and, the fluids you drink.
Damaged Skin
A damaged skin barrier is dangerous for your skin's health, and sense of well-being. Skin oils and creams or lotions affect the structure of the skin barrier. It is with this in mind that boL, working with clients and utilising traditional knowledge backed up by ongoing research, as well as findings of medical practitioners, have developed an effective range of skin care formulae.
boL Skincare Creams
boL skincare, with its all-botanical ingredients, provides gentle yet powerful care treatments to enhance and beautify your skin. The properties of plants have been known and prescribed for beauty and healing over the centuries. Natural substances in vegetable cells protect, cleanse, moisturise, balance, nourish and tone skin. Use our creams sparingly, in order to restore, or maintain good skin. Synthetic chemicals and preservatives, damaging to skin and overall health, are simply not included at all.
We recognise and understand the beneficial properties of certain natural oils: they are not just 'base carriers'. There is no such thing as an inert oil. Even mineral oils affect the function of the skin and penetrate the inter-cellular spaces, to hamper the skin's natural functioning. There are better botanical alternatives.
As nature knows best...Regenerate damaged skin naturally
Recommendation: Use natural products that kill germs, clean debris, and open pores without causing any irritation or side effects. Choose one which also helps to regenerate damaged tissues. Are Your Natural Skin Care Products 100% Natural? - Are you being mislead? Natural skin care products are products that are made exclusively from natural ingredients and nothing else. Or are they?
As long as the product contains at least one natural, active ingredient and considering that organic actually refers to carbon, as long as one of the ingredients contains carbon atoms (eg: crude oil) they can even call it an organic skin care product. (They cannot call it certified organic however. So what are you going to do?
